BaBy!!

I know some of you (ok, MOST of you) are not surprised by this post :) But we have some fun news here in the Bridegan home...we are expecting a little baby!

Friday night my mom had her Halloween Party and I dressed up as a way of announcing publicly that we are pregnant...the pictures say it all...(to check her blog out go HERE)
 {My little oven...Poor Jared, he had his widsom teeth out, so he couldn't come to the party with me and be the Chef lol}
{a close up of the picture, the little white spot in the circle, or being measured with the ruler is our little baby}

I bet you are wondering how we announced it to my family? Good question, lol. Of course they were expecting the news, but we wanted to throw them off a little of when and how we told them. I stewed for days looking for creative ways on how to share our news. Then after lots of brainstorming I thought the sneakiest way was to trick them. I made these four Halloween boxes for my moms Halloween party prizes (as a cover for announcing our news). I wanted them to be taken by surprise, inside revealed our news with a note and a baby item. It was hilarious to see their faces, Sara screamed first, then the rest. Shalae sat there with a stunned expression on her face, she thought it was a gag gift, that I seriously wanted to give the baby stuff away as the prize lol. It was the perfect way to disguise our fun news.

So there you have it, in biblical terms, I am with child :) We couldn't be happier and feel more blessed to be welcoming a child into our home and family. We have been wanting this since we got married and just are so happy to finally be here.

Vegas!

Our Vegas Adventure!

Well, I didn't think to take pictures all week (how silly of me) but I did remember to take a TON of pics when Jared took me out for our "date day"... Enjoy!

{Starting at the bottom of the strip, believe it or not, I have never walked the strip}
{M&M factory}

{Coke factory, we did the around the world platter...some were ok, others downright bad!}

{There were a few pics I couldn't resist using my phone camera!}
{There were few times Jared would let me take his picture}

{Inside the venetian, first thing Jared said when we walked in was, the water does NOT look like that in Italy lol}

{The beautiful ceiling paintings, and the Italian caprese flat-bread, not as good as the real stuff tho}

{Even though it wasnt exactly like Italy, I was in the Italian spirit}

{I even found horses in Vegas}
{I loved these hanging gems all over and forced Jared for a picture, of course it was a little too feminine for him lol...hence the face}
{Before Jared woo-ed me at dinner he found the shoes I have been hunting for now for over 6 months, it was perfect!}
{Finally we went to on of my favorite spots, Serendipity, although nothing can beat the real Serendipity in NYC. It was still fun to have a nice dinner with Jared}

Overall we had a really fun time, we were both exhausted after such a fun week, I slept about 12 hours when we got home. But fun none the less.
